Your risk tolerance percentage is established for each investment that you are monitoring. The system defaults to 10%. The RiskAlert™ system sends you an alert when your investment falls by your risk tolerance percentage from its high value (calculated from either your start date or from your last OpportunityAlert™).

With your membership, you can use CompareAlert™ to test different percentages against a particular stock performance in the past.

Please be aware that a low risk tolerance percentage with a volatile stock and/or a low-priced stock may result in many alerts being generated.

You can change your risk tolerance at any time and RiskAlert™ will automatically begin monitoring based on your new percentage.

Once a RiskAlert is triggered, the system
begins monitoring for low value. You are sent
an OpportunityAlert when your investment
increases in value from its low value by your
Opportunity Percentage.
Our suggested guideline is to set your
Opportunity  Percentage at or below your Risk
Tolerance percentage. So, if you choose 15%
as your risk percentage, then consider using
8% as your Opportunity percentage.  However,
you can choose any percentage between 1%
and 99%.
You can change your Opportunity Percentage
any time and the RiskAlert™ system will
automatically begin monitoring based on the
new percentage.

Once you subscribe, you have unlimited access to CompareAlert that allows you to look back and compare any investment using the RiskAlert system versus merely holding the stock.

This may help you determine what percentages to use going forward. 

Remember that the main value of RiskAlert is to alert you so you can make a more informed decision about your investments.

Yes. You can remove/delete any time and you can add a new investment anytime.

Remember that monitoring for high value begins when the new investment is added.

To delete an investment, log in and navigate to your dashboard.  Find the Investment you’d like to delete and select the trashcan icon to delete alerts.  

When you register, RiskAlert will send you both an email and/or text message so you can verify you have received.

Yes, you cancel anytime.

The system will automatically change your monthly subscription price based on the number of investments you monitor.    

Log in to the Risk Alert Web Application and select “User Profile”.  Then select “Edit Payment Information” to update your payment information for your subscription.
